Hello Friends:

Well things sure can change in a mere moment...Monday, I was out at the marsh where I hike everyday and my pack was attacked. I was NOT hurt but our foster brother, Capio was brutally hurt and he is in ICU still. He has lost an eye and hs cheek is broken as is his nose.

The dog that attacked us was UNNETUERED and the owner even stated the dog was dog-aggressive. WHY in the world would a dog like that be out in a park filled with joggers, bikers, kids and dogs of all sizes? And the resut is that now one of my family is in terrible terrible pain and has lost his eye. This sucks.....

We are collecting donations as this bill is huge and the rescue group will pay but this means that we have no money to help with other needy dogs...if you can contribute, PLEASE do...even $5.00 makes a difference.

2012 Equals the Return of Mingos' Blogs for Dogs (and their people)

I am back and ready to take 2012 on and to make a difference! Just in case you haven't met me or forgot who I am...here's the 411.

I am Little Mingo. I am a seven year old cute little chi living in the SF Bay Area with Fiesta, Mingo, Capio and soon to join the family...McGee.

My Kt (AKA Mom) runs the San Francisco Chihuahua Meetup. www.meetup.com/sfchihuhua This is by far the HOTTEST small dog group in the entire Bay Area. We have 200 active members. Our people are fun and the dogs cute and silly and lovable. Our group is also VERY active in rescue. I will talk lots about rescue this year in the Mingo's Blog for Dogs.

Holy Crap! Has It Really Been Over 9 Months

WOW! My bad! I have been so bad once again with Mingo's Blogs for Dogs. I am back and I have lots and lots to say! I guess I have been a little bit TWITTER-centric. I have over 950 friends on Twitter. And so I just ignore the blog. I am no longer dragging. I am back.

And starting tomorrow I am going to tell EVERY one all about my trip to New Zealand. Kt has won a trip and while she's been pretty quiet about it. I knew the trip was here last night when our suitcase came out. I remember that blue bag...it came with me to Idaho. Now its time for New Zealand. Whoot! Whoot!
